Affordable Apartments (Couples)
AdvitCare created apartments offered for low monthly costs for couples.
What is this tier?
This program offers modern one or two-bedroom apartments in AdvitCare Housing communities to eligible couples at a fixed, low monthly cost, ranging from $300 to $500. It is designed to provide a stable, long-term housing foundation for two-person households. By setting a predictable and manageable rent that includes most utilities, this tier allows couples to build savings, reduce financial stress, and establish themselves securely within their community.
Who is it for?
This program is specifically for two-person households (couples, partners, or two related adults) who have a combined steady income but find market-rate apartment costs to be a significant financial burden. This includes:
Couples where one or both partners work in lower or middle-wage jobs.
A parent with a single adult child who will live together.
Two related adults (e.g., siblings) who form a two-person household.
Couples on fixed incomes, such as retirement or disability benefits.
Qualifications for this tier?
To be eligible, applicants must meet the following criteria:
Household Size: Must be a two-person household as defined by the lease agreement. Both individuals (if adult or emancipated) must be listed on the application and lease.
Rent-to-Income Ratio: The proposed rent ($300-$500) must not exceed 35% of the household's combined verified monthly income.
Credit and Rental History: A joint review of credit and rental history for both applicants will be conducted. A stable, positive rental history from at least one applicant is highly valued. Past financial difficulties will be considered on a case-by-case basis.
